Five minutes. No cuts.

A single-shot crescendo that moves from loneliness to camaraderie and perhaps back again.

A sense that we can at least share the difficult moments together and find joy alongside our pain.

The work holds a mirror to both the angst and the joy of creativity — between artistic partners, and within ourselves. Also, there’s a very good boy named Riker who did good.

This project is a collaboration in its purest form. Working alongside Cinematographer Jake Warren and each member of the band to create this suspended moment in real time was an absolute privilege. Our understanding of one another’s strengths — and our trust in each other as artists — made it possible for the performance to feel so raw, free and honest.

This is the sort of stuff we dream of as artists - getting to explore the deeper meaning of AJ Baragar’s beautiful song through the visual medium to help the music bloom into something even fuller. I think that’s the ultimate goal of any music video. The unbridled joy of our camaraderie is right there on screen. Creating meaningful art with our friends is as good as it gets.
