Kim: The long way home

Director – Cosima Barzini

In Kim: The Long Way Home, British Red Cross Picture editor Kim retraces her family’s harrowing escape from war-torn Vietnam to 1980s Britain, a country gripped by recession and anti-immigration rhetoric. As she unearths childhood memories of exile, hostility and the friendship of strangers, Kim reveals how her past forged a lifelong mission: to seek justice, challenge stereotypes, and champion compassion, through the lens of the camera.
